The signature dish of Le Saint Amour, a French brasserie in Culver City, is foie gras. The production of foie gras involves force-feeding ducks and geese several times a day by shoving a tube down their throats – the animals suffer from a painful illness that causes their liver to swell up to ten times their natural size.
