Urge Microsoft to Sell Mojang to a More Player-Focused Company

The Issue

I, like many others, am an avid player of Minecraft. However, since Microsoft's acquisition of Mojang in 2014 for $2.5 billion (source: The Verge), we have felt increasingly ignored and sidelined. Our concerns and suggestions seem to fall on deaf ears as the company continues to prioritize profits over player satisfaction.

Microsoft has made numerous changes that have been met with widespread criticism from the community. They've introduced features that were not asked for while neglecting issues that players genuinely care about. This is not what we signed up for when we started playing Minecraft.

Minecraft is more than just a game; it's a platform where creativity thrives and communities are built. It deserves to be managed by a company who understands this and values its players' input.

We call upon Microsoft to sell Mojang to a company who will prioritize the needs of the game’s dedicated community above all else – one that will listen, engage with us actively, and make decisions based on our feedback.

Please sign this petition if you believe in preserving the integrity of Minecraft and want your voice as a player heard.
