Demand Transparency: Universities in Scotland Should Divest from CyberArk

We desperately call on all Universities in Scotland to divest and disclose any contracts with CyberArk, a cybersecurity company that secures IT systems across lot’s of institutions. Although CyberArk provides vital security services, the company links to organizations involved in human rights violations including Elbit Systems, a defence contractor linked to the ongoing oppression of Palestinians and links with Israeli military, the IDF.  We know that these  entities are accused of human rights violations, including violence and displacement in Palestine.

Universities must uphold ethical standards in their partnerships. We urge Scottish universities to:

Disclose all contracts and affiliations with CyberArk.
Divest from companies supporting military operations linked to human rights violations.
Ensure transparency in procurement processes that reflect values of peace and justice.
