The UNSW SRC President and General Secretary have given the Queer Collective only 4 days notice of huge budget cuts:
*From $1000 campaigns, events and food to only $500 for the entire year.
*From $1500 for Queer Week to only $500. 

The UNSW Queer Collective is an autonomous group of Queer Students and the largest SRC Collective at UNSW. It is often already hard for the Collective to stick to its budget every year and it will be more than impossible with the current proposal.

Moreover, all other autonomous collectives have had their budgets cut by half and the Environment Collective budget is now only $200 for the entire year, whilst new funding has been dedicated:
*$859 for a phone plan.
*$700 to the National Union of Students National Conference
*$2000 for 2 days of SRC training (last year was only $1000 and before that there was no expenditure).
*$400 for free breakfast (formerly part of the Welfare budget).
*$1000 for SRC props (probably with little to gain for Queer students).
*$982 for SRC posters and leaflets printed externally.

Show your support for the UNSW Queer Collective and ask the SRC and Arc@UNSW to not cut the queer budget!
