University of Phoenix ought to be ashamed!

- 2009 I enrolled
- 2010 suffered traumatic limb loss
- April 2010 bought dictation software
- April 2011 let them know my new life circumstances
- Offered me the same dictation software
- I advised them I have it
- I advised that Unfortunately it is inconsistent & doesn’t work
- Been debating this ever since 4/2011
- So I literally could have completed this twenty times already and graduated just as many times
- My employer funded this but they have dragged this on for so long that opportunity to have them continue doing so has long passed
- I need an Accommodation:
- the ONLY accommodation I have EVER requested has been to:
     - Present ANY papers assigned orally
- Which means I would have to do MORE work than anyone else to complete the same assignments
- Dictation software is inconsistent
- Due to my disability I am unable NOT unwilling but unable to write/type
- I have previously completed six classes so there are at least 12 or more papers that have been written and graded so my ability to write cannot be in question because I have exhibited that skill proficiently
- My inability to physically be able to do so is the ONLY issue
- they have denied my request continuously
- I have contacted everyone under the sun and yet I still have been unable to resolve this issue
- I will not give up until they honor my request
- I will not pay for what would have been free had not continuously been denied for more than a decade
- I requested what I could do while needing them to actually do absolutely NOTHING
- Disability does not have a one size fits all remedy
what works for one will not always work for another
being unwilling to work with an individual who has a disability where their accommodation request continuously gets denied when no actual change has ever been required of the curriculum nor the institution and the individual has completed more then enough courses that evidence of their ability to write is illustrated is ridiculous, pathetic and extremely disrespectful.
- No one should ever be denied an education because an institution refuses to give an individual living with a disability the accommodation that they need
- especially when without the accommodation there is no chance in hell for them to complete their degree.
- using the law, a vague law at that, against the very individual it was meant to help is absolutely despicable, insane, pathetic there aren’t enough adjectives in the world to describe you … pitiful just pitiful! 
It’s a shame it’s taken this long and I’ve had to exhaust soo many measures. What UOP is doing/not doing is morally apprehensible.
