As a proud member of the World of Warcraft guild Direwolves who identifies as a femboy, I am calling for an important change within our guild—one that promotes equality and inclusion. Currently, there is a noticeable lack of femboys in officer ranks within our gaming community, and this is a matter that requires our immediate attention and action.

Femboys, like myself, are dedicated, passionate, and skilled players who bring unique insights and perspectives that can benefit our guild immensely. Despite this, there seems to be an invisible barrier preventing us from being recognised for leadership roles, which stifles diversity and equality within our ranks.

Gaming communities thrive on diversity and inclusivity. When different voices and backgrounds are represented in leadership roles, everyone benefits. By offering all members, regardless of their gender identity, the chance to become officers, we can foster a more welcoming and supportive environment, where all players feel valued and heard.

Let's ensure that all guild members are given equal opportunities to rise within the ranks based on their abilities and contributions, not their gender identity. By forming a union or collective, we can better advocate for fair policies and decisions within our guild. This will set a precedent for inclusivity not just in Direwolves, but in all gaming communities.

I urge all members of the guild Direwolves, as well as our allies and supporters from the wider World of Warcraft community, to stand with us. Let’s push for meaningful change that guarantees equality and representation for femboys and other underrepresented members.
