School uniform has its uses, achieving formality and seaming equality between pupils. However, most restrictions affect primarily girls; forcing them to cover up in order to not be deemed 'too sexual' for their male peers (mostly). This blatant sexism ingrains the idea that girls are to dress 'respectably' and how society desires, thus normalizing perverted behaviour. Now, please can schools not restrict the types of skirts girls are able to wear. Thank you!
