Long-term unemployed have exhausted all available extensions!!  we are now desperate for the government to step in and help.  We have no benefits left and with no jobs out there right now we have no income coming in.  Most of us have been without income for several weeks now.  We have no income to buy groceries, pay bills, keep our cars, keep our homes!!!  I dont understand why the government continues to hear our stories day after day and not step in to help????  I for one have been unemployed since Feb 2008 and i can tell you everyday i get up i get the newspaper i go on line and i make my calls for any open positions.  I go to the businesses just to see if in person would make a difference,, and of course it does not!!!  We desperately need another extension to be passed asap until these so called jobs are in place and we can go back to work again!!!  Tell me why does the government want to see us begging everyday for these benefits???
