Remembering 9/11 25 years later (current sign count 2.3ķ, next goal 2.5K)

Today marks 25 years since 2 planes hit the twin towers plus a third hitting the pentagon and a third landing in Pennsylvania. Honestly, I wasn't born yet when it happened, so I have no memory of it happening whatsoever. In my lifetime, it's COVID that I would remember. Queen Elizabeth II dying after a reign of around 70 years. Even if I wasn't around for the time of 9/11, I still recognize it's a day in our history worth remembering and the event was very tragic. I should still at least recognize it in an update on each of my petitions. It definitely changed our history. It led to the creation of the department of Homeland Security (expanding the executive branch before we get to expand the legislative) and enhanced security at the airport, which could be because of the department. Definitely worth remembering. Also I don't want to forget yesterday made a year since Charlie Kirk was assassinated. I know his legacy, his viewpoints, could be considered very controversial, but still good to mention it as it highlights political violence in our country. I don't support political violence in anyway even if it's used against somebody I don't agree with, personally or politically. Also, Tuesday made 4 years since Queen Elizabeth II died.
