Municipal manager refuses to receive memorandum

The municipal manager refused to receive the memorandum. A public servant ignoring the public at a legal gathering agreed to by her office, just so that we could be turned away. 

The disrespect from the municipal manager advertises the rot at the municipality, not being able to face the public and answer for wrongdoings.... 

How can we support a municipal manager that has no care or concern for the people she supposedly serves?

We had a memorandum and 498 pages of signatures to hand to her.  The signatures have since then, in 24 hours increased by another 10 000 to 24 000 signatures.  Friends of Umngeni will continue to protest until we are heard, an explanation is given and the SPCA is paid in full and a new service level agreement is signed and honoured by the municipality.
