Protest march tomorrow (31 July 2019)
Please show your support of our local uMngeni SPCA. Tomorrow we are gathering outside the Howick falls hotel parking lot, next to the bridge at 10am.
We will gather there for a short briefing and then commence a walk up main road to the municipality. Arriving at the municipality at 11.30am.
If you cannot walk, please meet at the municipality gate.
Wear black if possible, bring South African flags, posters etc.
We need the SPCA to be paid the money owed :
July 2018 to March 2019 R666 586.00
April 2019 to June 2019 R222 870.00
The failure to pay this has had a negative impact on animal welfare. We need the Municipality to Pay this outstanding amount and sign and honour a new ongoing service level agreement with the SPCA is needed.
