In schools and as part of many curriculum’s, pupils are taught a foreign language. This could be French, Spanish or German. 
Why is it in 2020, we still have this? I feel that we have more chance of meeting people that are deaf, or have hearing difficulties. I feel that teaching Makiton or sign language within schools would be highly beneficial to all those that require this. 
Currently today (23/11/2020) a deaf Tesco worker has had complaints made as she is asking people to lower their face coverings so that she could understand what people were saying. This is someone putting themselves on the front line, and being complained about due to having a head impediment. Let’s change this. For everyone who struggles to hear or who is registered deaf. 
Small changes at times make the biggest difference. 
We need to get this to parliament and ensure that we are all adhering to the equality and diversity act, making sure that all people are able to be included. This could potentially open up more jobs for those who could teach sign language.
