Mr. Kincannon’s racist, ignorant, abhorrent, vitriol-espousing tweets are not just reprehensible, at this level they are irresponsible and dangerous. At the very least, this man’s Twitter account should be closed and Mr. Kincannnon banned for life. 

Twitter has permanently closed the accounts of users for repeated violations of the platform’s guidelines with regard to inciting violence and hate speech. Mr. Kincannon's Twitter account is equivalent to an ISIS member’s Twitter account. Both vehemently condone the killing of those with whom they hate. Mr. Kincannon hates Muslims, Africans and African-Americans, among others.

He has also tweeted that he would "shoot mercilessly" anyone whom he was lawfully allowed to. 

Saying of Travyon Martin, "Here's how racist I am. I wish every other black Trayvon Martin would get shot."

I am all for free speech, but even if you condone his account access for that reason, the Twitter rules and by-laws are clear...

"You may not publish or post direct, specific threats of violence against others."

This is Mr. Kincannon’s second Twitter handle. His first? Closed for repeated violation of these rules. What is going on? Close this guys account. It’s an embarrassment. 

Further, to allow this account to remain online just emboldens his and encourages his followers, some of whom claim to heed his words and agree the violent murder of minority group members and peoples of color is called for. He has advocated the murder of African-Americans, Muslims, African Ebola patients and many others.

You can make a difference by signing this petition, and proving to Mr. Kincannon (and Twitter) once and for all that these types of Tweets, especially from a public figure, are not only disgusting  - they are dangerous. Advocating for the murder of innocent people, based on race, is not a joke. At no point has Mr. Kincannon’s indicated that any of his tweets are satire, or jokes, or are not to be taken seriously. His hatred is real. His threat is real.
