Hopefully you all know that the meeting next Thursday at 3pm at the Hilton Head Library is when the developer will reveal their new plans for the development to the sub committee. After as much opposition as there has been I thought they would down size their plans but the more I hear through the grapevine, the more I think they are going to push for the massive development originally planned. They have hired PR people, a high dollar lawyer from Charleston and that tells me they are not willing to back down. I suggest you attend this meeting when their plans are unveiled and should they stick to the mega-density plans, it will be our turn to gather as much support as possible, maybe even a march, to show them we will not go quietly into the night. Our lifestyle is at stake here so spread the word! I am requesting that a few representatives be allowed to speak for all of us and will let you know if that request is granted. If we beat BASF we can sure as hell beat this. I'll post another update the first of the week.
