I realize the 3pm HH National meeting is smack dab in the middle of your work day but if it is at all possible, try to get off early and be there. Why? This meeting is crucial because the developer is going to reveal whether or not they plan to scale down or change their original massive development plan. If they choose not to regard all the opposition to this project and go ahead as planned, it will set a precedent for all the other developers looking to ruin our lifestyle. The County Council does have the right to deny the rezoning and if we aren't there to pressure them to do so, it is all over folks. Once again the meeting is at 3pm this Thursday at the Hilton Head Library. I oppose the location being on Hilton Head but maybe it isn't all bad when the developers find themselves stuck in traffic as they try to get back to Bluffton after the meeting.
