President Trump just took an unprecedented step. He seized control of California’s National Guard and sent armed troops into Los Angeles without the governor’s consent.

California Attorney General Rob Bonta is fighting back. He just filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration, calling the order an “abuse of power,” an “infringement” on state authority, and an unlawful escalation designed to provoke chaos, not restore peace.

The truth is, the streets of Los Angeles had calmed before the troops arrived. But it appears Trump wanted a spectacle. He sent in soldiers to allegedly reignite tensions and back up brutal ICE raids that have already led to over 100 arrests — including peaceful immigrants just trying to live their lives.

This isn’t about public safety. It’s about control, fear, and crushing dissent.

The National Guard should be protecting Californians during wildfire season, not being turned against them in the streets of L.A.

We stand with Rob Bonta, Governor Gavin Newsom, and every official defending our rights, our sovereignty, and our people. The courts must block this unlawful order before it becomes the new normal.
