Donald Trump built his political rise on a promise to end endless wars. He called the Iraq War a disaster, criticized neoconservative warmongers, and pledged to put America First by focusing on issues here at home. That promise is now at risk.

Tucker Carlson, a longtime ally and influential conservative voice, is urging Trump not to support U.S. involvement in Israel’s strikes against Iran. Carlson is right. Another war in the Middle East would betray the principles that once set Trump apart and pull us back into costly, unwinnable conflict.

Instead of protecting our people and economy, we’d waste billions, risk American lives, and get dragged into battles that have nothing to do with our national security.

Senator Ted Cruz and others are now trying to discredit Carlson’s warnings by labeling him a kook or worse. But questioning war isn’t kooky. It’s patriotic. And asking why we’re sending Americans to fight and die in another country’s conflict is not antisemitic — it’s common sense.

We urge Donald Trump to listen to Tucker Carlson, stand by his promises, and reject another war in the Middle East. The American people want peace and stability, not another endless conflict.

President Trump: Keep your word. Keep us out of war.
