Treat All Immigrants Equally

Treat All Immigrants Equally

The Issue

The United States Senate is currently considering the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Bill that will overhaul the Nation’s immigration system. Some of the provisions in the bill will benefit skilled as well as unskilled workers in the United States. However, the bill does not address the following issues.

1. Green Cards for foreign students pursuing graduate degrees in biomedical, pharmacological, and  other life sciences.

2. Employment authorizations to the dependent spouses accompanying F-1 and H-1B visa holders.

We are petitioning the Congress so that they address the above-mentioned issues. The bill is moving very fast in the Congress and may become a law by fall 2013. We need to take action now. If you agree with the issues, please show your support by signing the petition. Please see below the Petition Letter for detailed discussion of the issues.
