The petition names of 87 residents of LBMCOC were sent to Council. Several signees also sent letters directly to Council. We understand there were also several letters sent by area residents near 2-44 Marine Drive who want the rezoning to proceed. Council will discuss the rezoning at its October 13 meeting. Till then, we encourage our petitioners to speak to any of the councilors about the need for a fall-winter-spring outdoor recreation program – if not this site then where? Once a decision is made, we will post it.
