We, the undersigned fans and supporters of the Toronto Tempo, respectfully request that the organization introduce an official team mascot.

As Canada’s first WNBA team, the Toronto Tempo has a unique opportunity to build traditions that will inspire and connect fans for generations to come. One of the most beloved traditions in professional sports is having a team mascot—a recognizable character that brings energy, excitement, and a sense of community to every game and event.

The Toronto Tempo is currently the only major professional sports team in Toronto without an official mascot. Across the city, mascots have become iconic representatives of their teams, helping to create memorable experiences for fans, engage communities, and build lasting traditions. As Toronto’s newest professional sports franchise, the Tempo deserves a mascot that can unite fans and become a recognizable symbol of the team’s identity.

Mascots play an important role in professional sports by:
