Mental health in high school students can be a good thing and a bad thing depending on the student and the circumstance. This relates to how many kids have a mental illness in high school, how it is “formed”, and how we can fix this issue. Mental health is the level of psychological well-being or an absence of mental illness, the political significance connects to it being long-lasting, yes, it is long-lasting with the impact being extreme on these students. It can affect a student's energy level, concentration, dependability, mental ability, and confidence. All students are affected by their mental health at one point in their life. Many people are for the fact that mental health is not spoken about enough and that it is a very important thing, more awareness definitely needs to be brought to it. Students struggle over their mental health day in and day out and it is a constant problem in one’s life, they often feel as if they have no-one to turn to at most times because not a lot of people know about it enough to help. The government should find new ways to bring awareness to this issue, create new resources for students, and generate new ways to prevent them from creating bad mental health.
