As Americans it is our civic duty to participate in a general election every 4 years. Every eligible voter deserves to have their vote counted as long as their ballot was submitted and/or mailed on or before election day. It should not be the voter's responsibility to anticipate delays by the USPS in regards to their ballot arriving on time. The 2020 presidential election is not only producing record numbers for total ballots cast, but also for mail in and absentee votes cast. This election is one of the most divisive in recent years and perhaps the most important in regards to hot-button issues such as the economy, police reform, social justice, civil rights/liberties, women's rights, pandemic response, climate change, and foreign relations. These issues only exaggerate the importance that every American's voice be heard and vote be counted. Do not let a crooked act deliberately, and drastically, change or determine the outcome of this election by taking legal avenues that reject individual's votes or stop vote counts all together.
