Release the Old Disney Channel Shows and Movies on DVD

The Issue

Some of the early (late '90s to early 2000s) Disney Channel Original Movies (including the first two Zenon movies, Luck of the Irish, Motocrossed, Brink, etc) were released on VHS, but not on DVD. Because the VHS tapes are out of print, they're getting harder to find these days. In addition, most classic Disney Channel shows (e.g. That's So Raven, Lizzie McGuire, Phil of the Future, etc) had episode compilation releases on DVD, but not complete series/season sets.

A lot of fans (myself included) who grew up watching Disney Channel would like to be able to obtain official DVD copies of classic Disney Channel Original shows and movies from the 90s-2000s instead of having to rely on old worn-out VHS recordings, search for unofficial bootleg DVD copies, or use the Disney+ streaming service while praying that the internet won't go out when watching.

Even though we have the Disney+ streaming service today, people still want to be able to obtain physical DVD copies of Disney TV shows and TV movies, especially due to the service having issues such as reduced AV quality, censorship, incorrect aspect ratios, music licensing, the lack of certain titles, and the lack of certain bonus content. There's also no guarantee that Disney+ will be kept online indefinitely either, some people also don't have the consistent high-speed internet required to make streaming feasible. With official physical DVD/Blu-ray releases, you get cover artwork, exclusive bonus features, high AV quality, and offline access that you can't get with streaming nor digital downloads.

Personally, I'd be happy to have them even if they were licensed to independent boutique publishers (such as Shout! Factory) or released as made-on-demand DVD-Rs (like Warner Archive and Amazon CreateSpace for lesser-known titles) because then the people who are interested in having those older shows and movies officially on DVD can finally get to own them for their collection.

Wouldn't you like to be able to own the entire Zenon trilogy, Stuck In the Suburbs, Brink, the complete series of That's So Raven, The Famous Jett Jackson and other Disney Channel throwbacks for your DVD collection?

For those who haven't done so already, don't forget to contact Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment and boutique DVD publishers by using the methods shared in these updates linked below:
