Hello. Before I begin with this update, we are still going strong with 1,322 signatures as of this writing. Proving that people still want officially licensed DVD copies of classic Disney Channel content in the age of Disney+.

As some of you may have noticed, Disney has licensed Gravity Falls to Shout! Factory for a complete DVD+Blu-ray release a couple years back, gracefully proving that Disney is willing to license some of their content to boutique home media publishers for physical releases.

Now, we need your help to convince Shout! Factory and other boutique publishers to look into licensing some of the old Disney Channel Original shows and movies for DVD releases.

To reach out to Shout! Factory, go to the contact page on their website (link to the contact page) and fill out the form. Please note that you may have to enter a CAPTCHA before submitting your inquiry.

Here is a sample message that you can use for reference, you don't have to copy it word-for-word, feel free to change it if you'd like, but please be respectful and understanding:

"Dear Shout! Factory, I've noticed that you've released a complete series set of Disney's Gravity Falls, which is definitely a good move as fans of the show wanted to own it on DVD. As a longtime fan of the Disney Channel, I would really appreciate it if you could look into releasing their classic original movies and complete shows to DVD (such as the Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century trilogy, Even Stevens, Phil of the Future, That's So Raven, Johnny Tsunami, the Famous Jett Jackson, The Suite Life, and The Proud Family). Many Disney Channel fans wish to own these titles on DVD without having to resort to bootlegs. Thank you."

Other boutique DVD publishers include (but are not limited to): Arrow Video, Kino Lorber, and Amazon Media On Demand (formerly known as CreateSpace).
