2018 will be the 25th Anniversary of Homeward Bound and I am petitioning you now to ask that you get up some sort of celebratory edition for the occasion.

   This is going to be a two-fold request. The first part is; please give us a bluray release of this film. You guys have been printing it on DVD to this day (it is the end of January 2017 and I just got my copy at a retail store) so you know there still has to be demand for the film. You guys wouldn't keep printing and selling something that didn't have any demand. 

  The second part of this request is to please if you put it on bluray; please give it some remastering. Some sound balancing and re-colouraztion at the minimum so the movie looks and sounds as it should as a bluray release. 

   This movie has been a huge part of many lives. Plenty of people I have spoken to from various parts of the world have watched this movie more than once, and have very fond memories of this film. 
   Memories that I am sure many would love to relive or share with their children in the current medium format. 

   The ending that Shadow is given has stuck in the minds of many, many people and a new bluray release can help pass that experience on to a new generation. Watching it today I still cried; though I have seen the movie many times and as an adult have a full understanding of what will happen. I know Disney wants to bring classics to the next generation which is why you re-release so many of your wonderful classics...
   This movie is a classic too!

   Look around online as a movie for animal lovers, or even just on the merits of simply being a family film this movie has tremendous praise from critics, animal groups and the average viewer alike.

   So I hope those at Disney who make decisions or help make these decisions decide to give this project a hearing at least. Yet in order for that to happen voices must be heard; the voices of people who loved this movie as a child or still love it to this day; the voices of those who want good, and, wholesome entertainment to continue to be available to their children or grandchildren.
