Food Poverty is on the rise in Britain today which is deeply concerning and not something to disregard.Todays Leading Supermarkets in the UK are disposing tons of waste every year of perfectly edible food.  Just last year one supermarket brand discarded almost 30,000 tonnes of unsold food which I find this extremely outrageous and difficult to except as there is currently a food poverty crisis in this country which is one of the richest in the world.There are many people out there who would benefit immensely from this discarded food and i think it's absolutely disgraceful how money is put above a humans need to eat. It is also an offence to take food from the bins where supermarkets put the food which is shocking and pitiful considering it's going to be destroyed anyway. So i would like to see the majority if not all the leftover food given to food banks,charities and those in need. There are also many other factors involved which include the use of resources and energy to dispose of this food.
