To many people are being put on this list for stupid reasons such as urinating on a fire hydrant and yet they are classified right along with a pedophile my reason for this petition is my son he is a good kid who has never been in trouble he has just turned 25 and has never lets say been sexually active he is a homebody who works hard loves movies paintball and videogames he met a young lady online and they became.involved.texting amd talking on the phone her profile on her pageshe.was 18.when he asked she told him she was 17.but would be of age in two weeks they made plans she would come to visit after.she graduated she.sent him pictures of herself and video and he did the same well to make a long.story short she lied and is actually 16 needless to.say.he is now on the list has lost his job and cannot live at hoe because of minor children in the home I hurt for him all he wanted was a girlfriend.to.lavish all his attention on and now what chance.does he have.with.a.sex.offender label these laws have gotten so ridicoulous and out of control and having children of my own I understand the need for some of them but can we not make these young girls who want to.be older and get our young men in trouble pay as well or take into consideration what happened to get to this point please change these laws and take our innocent kids off this list!
