The Issue

The Paycheck Fairness Act is an act designed to bridge the disparity between how much a man and woman get paid doing the same work. Currently, women make 77 cents to the dollar a man makes, and this has to stop. The legistlation has been passed in the House about a year ago, but has been stalled in the Senate. Tell the senate to pass this act and make it a priority to address womens issues.

I love helping people and teaching others about the real history of the United States and prejudices and injustices people still face today. I want to help make this country a better place to be for everyone, including immigrants, women, children and minorities.
