• Eliminates state requirements for licensure and certification of teachers.
• Eliminates the minimum state salary schedule for teachers and education
 support professionals.
• Eliminates seniority in all reduction in force decisions.
• Establishes a process which may be open to abuse unless the principals and
 superintendents establish an objective process rather than an arbitrary hiring process for teachers, since they will have sole discretion on employment decisions without school board approval.
• Creates a dismissal process for teachers based on flawed method of teacher evaluation (Act 54).
• Current teachers, who have due process rights (tenure), will lose all due process rights if receives one rating of “ineffective”.
• The rating of “ineffective” would constitute sufficient proof of poor performance and no additional documentation shall be required to substantiate such charges.
• Establishes a “kangaroo court” for any and all due process hearings and adds “poor performance” to the reasons for termination.
• Exempts public charter schools.
• Exempts private and parochial schools, who receive public tax dollars

Value-added evaluations, school letter grades, and the exemption of charter schools from the new evaluation system and school letter grades are maliciously vindictive and destructve!!
