🦋 PROPOSAL: Let’s Make 9.25 Official! 🦋

Dolly Parton has spent decades pouring her heart into the world—it is time we give that love right back. We are petitioning leaders to officially declare September 25 as "Dolly Day." This official calendar holiday calls on people everywhere to practice radical kindness, champion community giving, and spread the fierce, unconditional joy Dolly has shared for generations. From funding global medical research to gifting millions of books to children, Dolly teaches us how to lift each other up. Let's make her legacy of love official.

How we will celebrate Dolly Day every September 25:

📝 The Love Note Campaign: Dropping anonymous notes of appreciation to teachers, healthcare workers, and neighbors.

🎙️ Acoustic "Dolly Duets": Hosting local open-mic nights to sing her legendary songs together.

🕒 The "9 to 5" Volunteer Shift: Dedicating 95 minutes of our day to helping a local charity or shelter.

👗 Coat of Many Colors Dress-Up: Wearing our brightest, most joyful outfits to celebrate being exactly who we are.

📚 The Imagination Library Push: Helping local families register children under five for free monthly books, or fundraising to support local Imagination Library affiliate chapters.

🔄 The "Pass It On" Book Challenge: Reading a book with a child and donating a new children's book to a local shelter or underfunded classroom

Dolly said She will always love us—let's make Dolly Day official to prove we will always love her, too!
