David Frank Kustoff is an American politician and attorney, currently serving as the United States Representative for Tennessee's 8th congressional district, a position he has held since 2017. The district encompasses much of West Tennessee, including parts of the Memphis area. Kustoff was born and raised in Tennessee, where he pursued higher education at the University of Memphis, earning both a Bachelor’s degree and a Juris Doctor. Prior to his tenure in Congress, Kustoff served as the United States Attorney for the Western District of Tennessee from 2006 to 2008. A member of the Republican Party, he is one of only two Jewish Republicans in Congress, alongside Max Miller. With a background in law and politics, Kustoff focuses on issues relevant to his district and the nation.
