The 10-10 rule prevents people from getting a drink using the bathroom or anything other that includes leaving the room. This is not right because It lasts for the first ten minutes of class and the last ten minutes of class which means that you have 20 minutes that you cannot use the bathroom, Yes you may be able to go to the bathroom when the bell rings and you only have 4 minutes to get to class but the new high school is 275,000-square-foot, On average, a person walks around 3 miles per hour which is 0.05 miles per minute. 1000 feet is equal to 0.189 miles. Therefore, a person will walk 1000 feet in 3.78 minutes at a speed of 3 miles per hour. The school building is 275 * bigger than 1000 square-foot. So for someone walking all the way across the building they have no time to waste to get there.  Unlike foods, water can be “digested” in as little as 5 minutes. Excess water leaves your body through urination and feces but is also excreted by sweating. Your body uses water for many of its daily processes, and since it passes through your body so quickly, it's important to stay hydrated. Yes that fast and hold on how long do you have to hold it for 20 minutes. Also not just getting it out of your body but also you have to keep water in your body which means that you have to drink water meaning the water fountains. Prolonged or repeated bouts of dehydration can cause urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and even kidney failure. Guess what else, The Middle School their rule is only a 5-5 rule so why do we have to wait more time?
