The Issue

We the undersigned want the USDA to allow the vaccine for RHDV-2 (Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus 2) into Tennessee. Rabbit owners across Tennessee are concerned that the virus will spread. This virus outbreak has affected New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Texas, Mexico, and California. It is highly contagious and very deadly. It is affecting both wild and domestic rabbits. Right now, vaccines will only be allowed into Tennessee when we have confirmed cases. Rabbits will have to die first for the government to allow a life-saving vaccine to be imported. They will not let us get ahead of this virus. We want the vaccine that will save our rabbits.

RHDV-2 does NOT affects humans or animals other than rabbits.
