Remove the Confederate Statue from Lebanon Square

The Issue

The statue of Robert H. Hatton stands directly in the middle of the Lebanon square. This gives the image that this statue is the center of the town. I do not believe a Confederate statue reflects my towns character and the way I want my town to be represented. I believe that this is a symbol of hatred and not love. The Confederacy abandoned the Union, why should the statue of the traitors who lost the war reflect a small town in Tennessee? It shouldn’t, the loosing team (and racist team) should not get the center most spot of the town. Please sign, share, and protest this and get them to tear this statue down!
