There was a time when we would jokingly call internet failure a “first world problem”.

But for my small online business a loss of internet connectivity can be debilitating.

My home has been without NBN internet or reliable 4G service since 19th February.

My children have missed homework deadlines, I’ve missed an international genealogy conference and am on the verge of missing another virtual conference this week. I am weeks behind in managing my blog, website, social media marketing, and other day to day administration of the business. Not to mention being weeks behind in client coaching calls and other projects. There are real $ costs to being without internet service.

This is happening to my entire community. Households in my whole suburb are racking up huge mobile data bills just so their children can continue to keep up at school and we all continue to get pushed from pillar to post from various Telco's with no resolution in site.  If we get told "there is no outage noted at your address" one more time there could be a riot!

So whilst I appreciate this could seem like the rantings of a white privileged person being – I urge you to help support our small suburb and sign the petition to GET WATERFALL BACK ON LINE!
