With the unconstitutional vaccine mandate that Governor Pritzker has levied on us through his Executive Order beginning August 26, 2021 through September 21, 2021, our civil liberties in the form of our right to personal autonomy, bodily integrity and the right to refuse medical treatment, has been severely jeopardized. This is an unprecedented government overreach that cannot be tolerated. Our workforce is being coerced into receiving the COVD-19 vaccine or submit weekly test results without any regard to our individual religious beliefs, natural immunity, medical history, or other personal reservations. Adding to the already high-level of stress our workforce is under, the possibility of losing our jobs due to non-compliance is an unnecessary stressor.  Some of our workforce will decide to leave their jobs if they are forced into submitting proof of the COVID-19 vaccine or submitting weekly test results. The loss of teachers and school personnel will have great impact to our students and community.
