For the past 2 years, students at BHS have been struggling through the COVID-19 pandemic. We are burnt out, and it is needless to say that we need a real holiday break. We should have the freedom to spend our time relaxing with family and friends. Currently, mid-year exams are scheduled from Monday, January 10th, to Thursday January 13th. Due to this, students only have three school days after the two week break to study for exams. This is not enough time to revise everything we have covered, and we will be forced to study during the only break we have. We propose that exams be postponed one-two weeks after their scheduled time. This would allow for students to enjoy their deserved break, and it would provide enough time for students to realistically study properly. We need this opportunity to recharge, as the pandemic has been exhausting for all of us. We would sincerely appreciate your support and participation in our petition. Let's allow students to enjoy themselves and finally let their hair down.
