CDC guidance for the state of TN says that masking, isolation, contact tracing and even proper quarantine are necessary means to aide in the control of spreading the COVID-19 virus. Opting out of  mask mandates, not properly isolating or ignoring the advice from the CDC is dangerous. We are signing this petition to show solidarity for safety. We believe that masks should be required in schools, proper quarantine time is important and following the advice of the CDC should be the goal. Please sign this petition to show your support for health and safety in TN public schools. As multiple variants rage out of control, we need to be proactive as opposed to reacting to the negative results such as severe illness, overcrowding of hospitals and death.
