Teach The Declaration of Independence and U. S. Constitution In High School

Teach The Declaration of Independence and U. S. Constitution In High School
The Issue
Those who sign this petition are in agreement that:
The founding principles of this great nation are not taught to our future leaders in as much detail as needed in order to sustain our nation's fundamental ideals which lead us to be the great nation that we became.
The Declaration of Independence should be taught as (at least) an elective course, one semester in length, in public high schools.
The Constitution of The United States of America should be taught as (at least) an elective course, one semester in length, (in conjunction with a course on The Declaration of Independence or as a separate course of it's own) in public high schools.
Teaching these courses to high school students will only benefit American society.
