We oppose using City of Tampa and Community Investment Tax funds for a new Tampa Bay Rays stadium. They will take everything and Raise our taxes. Also stop the South Howard Project it won’t work .

The Ray’s Owner can honestly pay for it all. Go to Investors , Get Loans leave our CIT money alone this will Bring up a huge lawsuit.

Tampa residents are already dealing with:
🌊 Flooding

Public funds should fix infrastructure — not subsidize a private stadium.

Protect Tampa taxpayers. Protect our neighborhoods.

:Tampa neighborhoods are experiencing increased flooding.
   :Stormwater infrastructure remains underfunded.
:Community Investment Tax funds were approved for infrastructure, not stadiums.
:Public funds should prioritize resident safety and resiliency.

We, the residents and taxpayers of the City of Tampa and Hillsborough County, formally oppose the use of City of Tampa funds and Community Investment Tax (CIT) revenue for the proposed stadium for the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Community Investment Tax was approved by voters to fund critical infrastructure needs, including:

Flood mitigation
Stormwater infrastructure
Road improvements
Public safety
Drainage and resiliency
Transportation improvements
Using these funds for a professional sports stadium violates voter intent and diverts funding from urgent community priorities.
