Katherine Anne Castor is an American politician and attorney who has served as the U.S. Representative for Florida's 14th congressional district since 2007. Originally numbered as the 11th district until 2013, the area encompasses Tampa. A dedicated Democrat, Castor also served on the Hillsborough County Commission from 2002 to 2006. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Emory University and earned her JD from Florida State University.
