So my question to those that are saying that it should not be about race in one sentence, then angrily talk about the original Annie being white and should have stayed white is a contradiction. I have seen more hate towards the remake of this movie to the sounds of calling it the hood version- yet it is not about race. Why can't an American classic be made over and successfully at that? I am still not understanding why the original Annie's race has to do with the signage in the stores? Anyway, I am thanking you all! We are over 9000 signatures and never in a million years did I imagine that it would gain this much support! Support from various ages, races and walks of life!!
