The Superdelegates have to switch for the good of the nation

The Issue

My name is Max Blaska, I am only one man. One scared American man. After watching the convention I knew I couldn't be silent. There is a real good chance that Donald Trump will be our next president. We can't let this happen. Hillary Clinton is a weak candidate. She is a fatally flawed candidate. It shouldn't be this close. I believe that Hillary should step down and if she is not willing to do that. The Super delegates should nominate someone else for the good of our nation. Super delegates were created to prevent an unelectable person from getting the nomination after George McGovern. If the Super delegates that are unbound. 591 switch to Bernie Sanders it will give him the nomination. Even if you think that the independent voting public would not vote for a democratic socialist. Don't let Hillary Clinton get enough votes on the first ballot and draft a dark horse like Elizabeth Warren. This is not based on emotion, it is based on hard cold facts. And before you think I am some die hard Bernie supporter I voted for Kasich in the primary. These are the reasons why Hillary can't be the nominee #1 it shouldn't be this close. The polls right now are close to the margin of error. Donald Trump has done everything wrong and he is still nipping at Clinton's heels. #2 She is a radicalizing figure. Right or wrong nothing unifies the GOP like their pathological hatred of Hillary Clinton. If you took every reference of Hillary Clinton out of the convention you would probably have enough footage to fill two hours. Take away her and that rabid support will dry up and Trump will have no traction #3 Johnson and Stein. Could either of them win? Could either of them win a single state. No but let's say Johnson gets 15% and Stein gets 10% in a couple key states. If 70% of the independent vote is taken from Hillary and 30% is from Trump. That could be enough in key states like OH, PA, or WI. You can't rely on voters voting for Hillary Clinton out of fear. I may hold my nose and vote for her. But many voters are not as weak willed as me. #4 the Bernie supporters. These voters have no loyalty to the Democratic Party. They are sick of what they view as corrupt politics. Bernie Sanders put forth a good case of why we can't trust Hillary. It is not a question of "will they come home". The Democratic Party was never their home, and picking a progressive VP would not change that. And if the rumors about Tim Kaine are true. You should just give Trump the White House. #5 Florida and Ohio. I don't think he win win Florida. He may even lose states that usually are republican like Arizona because of his racism but he could pick up states like PA, OH, or Michigan. These are states where Bernie did well. If Trump wins these states. States that believe the status quo is not working for them and are angry will not have an alternative to Trump mentioning their concerns from a realistic and authentic way. Trump will win those states. I think Trump could even win my state of WI that hasn't picked a Republican president since I was in middle school. This would be because of#3. I have many friends where the question isn't Hillary or Donald but Gary or Jull. Please. Deep down you know that I am right. Again I am just one person. I called twelve superdelegates and I sent this to Donna Brazille and all I got in response was two words JUST STOP. I agree we need to JUST STOP. We need to stop Trump. But in order to stop Trump we need to stop Clinton. please sign my petition. Nobody has ever done this before. Nobody has gotten a presumption nominee to lose the nomination. But this is no average year. Let's make history instead of just being bystanders watching a borderline sociopath given the keys to the Kingdom. Thank you.
