There's a 140 m stretch that connects Bollineni Hillside, Perumbakkam and the Nookampalayam Link road heading towards OMR. This portion has been blocked for public commute for a canal construction and the work is endlessly going on for more than 6 months. There's no sign of completion. There's too much burden for commuters especially car commuters who need to take a long route of 1.5 kms through the Semmencherry Housing Board. The roads are very pathetic and damaged resulting in frequent wear and tear of car tyres. 

Diverting the traffic to a 90% longer route is unjustifiable. Request the concerned authority to take immediate action and complete the snail paced construction at the earliest.
