What is Veal? 

Veal is the meat of calves. They are only 16-18 weeks old, sometimes far younger. They are generally male calves which are not used for breeding. They castrated in the most inhumane ways while remaining fully conscious and sensitive to the pain. 

Restaurants need to start taking veal off their menu and it needs to stop being a 'delicacy'. Let the baby live! 

Bob Veal: 

Bob veal is meat from calves that were murdered when they were anywhere from a few hours to a month old, but who were usually younger than two weeks. Due to the tenderness of the meat produced by newborn calves' underdeveloped musculature, demand for "humane" bob veal slain at young ages has increased as veal crates have been forbidden in numerous U.S. states and Europe. In the United States, bob veal makes up around 15% of the total veal market.

Veal is usually more expensive than regular beef, so it's the more high priced restaurants that serve them.
