As a pvp player in the division community I understand that things like Medkit swapping or chest swapping can be seen as an exploit. But as someone who has been one tapped over a thousand times by a fire sticky, the devs need to understand that everyone in the pvp community does this because of how strong fire and status is in the game, everyone in pvp runs about a 1.1 to a 1.7 million armor build in pvp but when a status effect such as the fire in the game can do about 450,000 to 500,000 damage to someone a tick or in other words every second, not including creeping death which transfers status to everyone else. Chest swapping is only fair, not only do we as a community use it as a way to defend ourselves but even though it can be seen as over powered so is status in many cases when I’ve personally used this “exploit” the other person that has a status build on, kill’s themselves in game and spawns in a checkpoint to get pve damage. pve damage coming from a fire sticky does about 1.5 million to 2 million damage a second. When you add that on top of creeping death a whole 4 man team can be one tapped by one skill in about two seconds. The devs and the pve community keep saying that we should just use a hazard build and/or a booster if that is such a problem. The booster negates status effect damage whether it’s from bleed or from fire but for someone that has been already shot or put on status (fire bleed) you don’t have enough time to react to the said status because when you use a booster it takes about 1.5 seconds to drop on the floor and you also have to be moving in the booster for it to activate and take affect which takes even more time. So In reality it takes about three seconds for the booster to do it’s job and negate damage, when it takes about one second for someone to press RB/LB to use the skill, when your hit with an explosive in the game whether that’s a Explosive sticky or a fire sticky you stagger so on top of those three seconds that it takes to use a booster the stagger adds more time before the booster can be used. By the time you use the booster you are dead. Chest swapping is the only way we can defend ourselves from all of this. Understandably from a pve players perspective this can be seen as over powered. But what everyone that doesn’t pvp in this game needs to understand the dark zone is the dark zone. It is a strictly pvp heavy area. Pve players have an entire map to roam and do what they want and pvp players have three little corners of the map to actually try to play the pvp side of the game. When the fire sticky doesn’t work against pvp players because of chest swapping someone can just run out with a full armor regen 1.8 million one skill tier shrapnel trap and one tap anyone literally anyone. Fix the fire sticky damage in the game. Fix the shrapnel trap in pvp. Fix the pve damage and stop nerfing us pvp players. We’ve been waiting for an update for about 2 years hoping you guys would fix these things. Stop ignoring the pvp community. YouTubers aren’t the whole pvp community. FIX YOUR GAME.
