Take action against foreign funded UNETHICAL online retailers..FLIPKART, Myntra, Jabong...

The Issue

There are more than 50 Lakh plus physical retailers who are running the brick and mortar traditional retail business from long time for livelihood.

India is a country of retailers with the largest retail density in the world. More than 50lakh plus retailers with more than 2.5 crore plus dependent are there in our country. Many of of us joined retail business at age of 13-15 and have been working in the same. We are expert of our work and enjoy it too BUT..

Now the small retailers are facing intensecompetition from some FOREIGN FUNDED UNETHICAL ONLINE RETAILERS. They are getting huge funding, running business in losses, SELLING PRODUCTS BELOW THEIR COST PRICES...doing lots of experiments by spending crores. They may eventually succeed or fail in their business model BUT...

How and why the fate on more than 2.5 crore plus people who are having no other means for survival but retail businesses should be left in the hand of handful of unethical online retailers.

India is a democratic country. The right of all should be protected. The survival and growth opportunity must be there at all level and section of society.

I request you to take action against the online retailers who are using flaw in the law and playing a big gamble to capture the entire market by selling below cost price for their initial years. When VC funding is not allowed in E-commerce these companies are registering offices in Singapore etc and routing the money for the same business. Is it not a mockery of our system? When VC funding in retail is not allowed, there is a daily news of $XX million funding to so and so e-commerce company. DUH! They are obviously not using funding just for their platform but to sell products below cost prices and run business in losses to kill competitors and physical retailers.

CCI ( Competition Commission of India)- Take action against for anti competitive business practices for running business in losses and not maintaining MOP ( Market Operating Price). Many times during festivals they run more than 50% discounts and sell below their cost price. They are doing this all to capture the market overnight and weed out small retailers so that they will have big consumer base to play.

Minister of Commerce and Industry- Take action for FDI violations. When FDI is not allowed in e-commerce they are floating fake companies in Singapore and in other places to route the money. For example Flipkart has registered it's parental company Flipkart Singapore pvt ltd and received funding there which will be routed to Flipkart India. Is this not a mockery of our system, when FDI is not allowed in ecommecre many of these companies are receiving Rs.500.00 crore to Rs.3500.00 crore funding.

The Enforcement Directorate- Take action for FDI Violation. Investigate the FDI violation for FLIPKART, SNAPDEAL, YEBHI,Shopclues, JABONG, MYNTRA, NAAPTOL, Homeshop18,Yepme...and all online retailers who have received Venture capital fundings. Some of these retailers have changed their model to marketplace and saying that they are just a platform but they still have their own FAKE companies like WS RETAIL etc which gives the maximum discounts in their platforms.
