However, to my dismay, this claim turned out to be untrue. The officers in question have not faced any suspension nor accountability despite their unprofessional conduct during a press briefing—an event where they were reportedly seen laughing about this grave matter.

This not only undermines the gravity of the crime committed but also taints the image of our law enforcement agencies. A swift administrative response is crucial to restore trust and credibility. Suspending these officers would serve as a clear message that negligence or inappropriate conduct, especially in situations demanding utmost seriousness, will not be tolerated.

Furthermore, addressing this issue can curb the spread of misinformation. False news on social platforms can lead not only to public unrest but also to further distrust towards law enforcement and governance structures.
