YouTube has recently changed their way of doing verification marks which has left a negative impact on the community. Many YouTubers who have spent years working and building a community on the platform are now having their verified ticks taken away from them. Not only is this a slap in the face to those who worked hard to obtain this status, it now opens up their names to be used by others fraudulently and this can open up even more problems on the platform.
