For those unaware there is a Korean YouTuber called Ssoyoung and she eats Korean food. Sounds like nothing to get upset about, right? Well she eats it in the most inhuman way possible by torturing some of the smartest animals in the ocean such as squid and especially octopus. This is animal cruelty and the worst part is she gets away with it. Now, I understand there is a culture difference and I have no problem with her eating these animals, I have a problem with how she prepares them. In one video she decapitates a live squid and pours soy sauce on it while it’s alive, which as you could imagine wouldn’t feel good. The worst part is she labels it as it dancing around when in reality it is moving and trying to escape while in agonizing pain. If she where to eat it and prepare it normally without them being alive I would have no problem due to the fact that I understand that those animals do get eaten however, they should NOT be eaten and prepared in such a cruel way.
